The Audi Q3 is at the end of its life cycle and doesn’t look quite as special as it once did. That’s true about the interior too; it comes across as a bit plain by the latest standards. Interior quality remains good, however, and you’ll also like the view out, the front seats for comfort and the amount of room in the back.
The Audi Q3’s 150hp, 1.4-litre petrol engine is refined for the most part and offers adequate performance too. Base diesel versions come with a 150hp, 2.0 diesel and, again, performance is fair. The more powerful 184hp, 2.0 diesel engine-equipped Q3s do feel livelier and offer punchy performance. The diesel engine isn’t the quietest around, though.
Thanks to its small dimensions and light steering, the Q3 is easy to drive around in town. It’s quite agile in the corners as well but there’s there some looseness at the steering and that takes away from the fun. Ride comfort is good, though the lighter petrol doesn’t feel as surefooted as the diesels. Quattro all-wheel drive bring in some confidence in the rough.
