The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza might not break new ground for design but its boxy silhouette and upright stance give it the right look. There’s nothing particularly remarkable about the dashboard design either; but again there’s no faulting the cabin for practicality or space. Importantly, the Brezza gives the feeling of being in an SUV.<br/>The 90hp diesel engine is punchy but also feels meek at low speeds. There’s also the age-old problem of engine noise – the Fiat-sourced unit feels really outdated. The manual gearbox Brezza is easy to live with, and the AMT – though not perfect – adds in some convenience. Being a Maruti, excellent fuel economy is a given. The Brezza also handles well, although there is an underlying firmness to the ride at all times.
