The Volvo S60 has been around for a long time but it doesn’t look outdated. Where the S60 feels past its prime is on the inside. The button-heavy dash is a far cry from Volvo’s latest minimalist dashboard design theme. Everything on the inside does feel well-put-together and the seats score high on comfort. Rear-seat space is just average by class standards, though.<br/>The standard S60’s 190hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine is pleasant and the entire experience is comfortable but unexciting. The Cross Country adds ground clearance and some rugged appeal to the S60’s strengths. It’s quick too, but the five-cylinder diesel engine and 6-speed gearbox feel outdated.
